Electricity Monitor
In Ukraine, the critical infrastructure was heavily damaged after a dozen of russian missiles. This app allows you to check the availability of electricity in real time. Add multiple addresses, observe schedules and get notifications in few clicks.
UX Structure
The user journey starts with a quick access to schedules and customizable reports. User can add multiple addresses to monitor them in real time.
Version 1.0
At first, I created Version 1.0 of the app — a functional tool that allowed users to track electricity availability, add multiple addresses, and receive notifications in real time. However, after conducting research and gathering user feedback, it became clear that the interface contained too much unnecessary information and was overly complex for our target audience — everyday users seeking simplicity. For example, the news section turned out to be unnecessary and difficult to maintain, adding confusion rather than value.
Version 2.0
Based on the insights, I decided to redesign the product and create Version 2.0, focusing on a cleaner interface, simplified structure, and a more intuitive user experience tailored to real-life needs in Ukraine’s challenging energy conditions.
Quick access to reports without login or account creation. Users can adjust the view from quick to expanded schedule. The light bulb is on/off whether the electricity is in/out which makes it convenient and quick to read information
Final Design
Users can add multiple addresses, check current power status, view upcoming schedules, and receive instant notifications with only the essential information on screen — all within a clean, easy-to-navigate interface.
Customization
Users can personalize their experience by customizing address cards with colors and icons, making it easy to recognize different locations at a glance.
