Sotware Solution
The project required building a single, cohesive ecosystem that brings together complex products. To achieve this, the design had to be modular, scalable, and future-proof. The goal was to create a system where teams could easily add new features, build new blocks, or extend functionality without breaking the design or relying on a designer every time.
My role and responsibilities
Drive the complete design lifecycle, from research to final implementation
Lead user research sessions with the team and conduct user interviews with current and potential users
Understand the technical architecture of the products and define mechanics for new functionality
Establish design review processes to ensure high-quality delivery despite handoff challenges
Product Information Management
All-In-One System. PIM serves as a unified back-office platform where modules with different functionality can be connected. It combines the capabilities of multiple tools and services, with key features including:
Efficient management and creation of families, groups, categories, and variants
Support for multiple attribute types
Bulk and repetitive content actions (for products and categories) using rules
Fast configuration of promotions with automated label display
Product profile import
Digital Asset Management
A software solution designed to efficiently and securely store, organize, manage, and share digital files across teams. DAM has an internal structure similar to PIM, including:
Families / Family Attributes
Asset / Asset attributes
Order Management System
A centralized platform for managing all orders processed by a business unit—whether a retail store, dark store, or warehouse. It maintains the full lifecycle of an order, from the moment it is received to its final handoff to the customer. The system communicates with external services, retrieves and updates statuses in real time, and orchestrates the necessary operational workflows. Key capabilities include:
Tracking and assigning personnel involved in order processing
Managing consolidation zones for efficient order handling
Creating and editing orders with full data visibility
Integrating payment services with receipt generation
Generating and printing order labels
User story
The goal was to design an interface that reduces friction: quick access to order details, simple navigation between processes, and intuitive controls for tasks like picking, payment, delivery planning, and returns.
Labeling
Each order receives a sticker with key details and a unique QR code. This marking helps employees quickly identify, scan, and track the order at every stage, ensuring accuracy and smooth workflow.
The sticker was designed to be clear, scannable, and easy to read in fast-paced warehouse conditions. The layout focuses on strong hierarchy and high contrast, ensuring workers can quickly identify the right package and keep the order flow moving efficiently.
Software design
Each order receives a sticker with key details and a unique QR code. This marking helps employees quickly identify, scan, and track the order at every stage, ensuring accuracy and smooth workflow.
Content Management System
The goal was to give content managers a clear, flexible interface where they can update site sections without developer support. Integrated directly with PIM and E-Com, the CMS ensures consistent and synchronized content across the entire store.
The CMS was built on top of GrapesJS, an open-source, block-based visual editor. Using GrapesJS as the foundation allowed us to create a flexible, drag-and-drop environment where content managers can build and update pages without coding.
